Open Show 2025

15th February 2025
It was an honour to be asked to judge the British Rottweiler Association Open Show. The Rottweiler has been part of my life for a long time and I thank you for my lovely entry. Everybody was in high spirits, showing sporting behaviour and the committee and my stewards worked tirelessly all day. I was very happy with my winners and found temperament to be good. I felt toplines (particularly on the move) appear to be increasing weak this is a trait that’s beginning to creep in and forechest still need watching. It was a shame the weather was not on our side as I would have preferred a bigger ring to allow the exhibits to move more freely.
Minor Puppy Dog Entry 2
1st Kai Ruddy Soul At Eyredazzle. Mrs J EYRE
A substantial young male with pleasing, calm expression. Broad skull, plenty of width between the ears which are sitting high and wide, closely fitting to cheek. Good fill under dark brown, almond shaped eye. Correct stop, sufficient width between the eyes to allow for correct depth of muzzle. Correct bite, I would just prefer darker flews, upper and lower lips fitting close together showing no excess skin. He has nice masculine neck leading to clean shoulders. A little soft in topline in both stand and, on the move, but portrays strength in body. This male has good muscle development on the shoulders. I would prefer his shoulders to be more layed back, good spring of rib flowing nicely to croup. Correct sabre tail, sufficient rear angulation. He just needs to develop more strength in his front patterns and rear hocks. Best Puppy Dog.
2nd Javladare Heart Goes Boom. Miss B GAURON
I liked this young male, needs a little more practice and came up against a more developed male in 1st place. Dry head with slight wrinkle between ears which are a good size relative to the head, sitting close to the cheek. Dark almond shaped eyes. In my view he had the correct 3 to 2 head proportions. I would prefer darker flews. Compact body developing nicely in strength although a little loose in front but can forgive this considering his young age. Clean shoulders developing nicely, correct slope of croup into sabre tail. Good rear angulation and bend of stifle. Given time will develop good muscle on his frame. Correct tan markings throughout. With more practice I am sure you will have some fun with him.
Puppy dog. Entry 1
1st Cornerpix In The Ghetto. Miss S AKHTAR
Medium size male with pleasant and calm manner. Clean head, correct sized ears. Would prefer a little more fill under the eye. Correct almond shaped eye. Good length to muzzle relative to the skull, with dark flews. Nice long, broad neck but would prefer to be cleaner behind his withers. Plenty of depth to rib cage, compact body sloping off to croup with correct sabre tail. Hind quarters well muscled, would like more range to second thigh. Standing on compact feet. I think a little less handling on this male would encourage him to come out of his shell more.
Junior Dog. Entry 5
Two very nice males I found a pleasure to judge but hard to separate. They quite easily could switch positions.
1st Upend Fletcher. Mrs W Steel
Very compact male with well developed head, broad skull, moderate wrinkle between the ears. Correct ears sitting close to cheek. Dark, correct shape eye with just the right amount of fill to cheek, good length to muzzle. Dark mouth open, lower lips fitting closely with no excess on display. Well developed, powerful neck showing great strength down and around shoulders. Clean behind withers with compact body, nice spring of rib, good strong bone on forequarter and strength, stands on compact feet. Correct tail. Well muscled hind quarters but would prefer more bend of stifle. Powerful male.
2nd Hanbar Iris At Warrimead. Ms M H Ward
Another quality male showing off a lovely silhouette. Pleasing calm gaze, clean head, broad between ears with moderate wrinkle. Ears sitting close to cheek. Dark, almond shaped eye with good fill under the eye. Correct length to muzzle. Dark mouth pigmentation with no excess skin on muzzle. Slightly lighter markings than first. Strong neck, broad well developed clean shoulders, would prefer a little more angulation of upper arm. Plenty of bone and substance on this young male. Slightly longer than first, sloping off nicely at croup to correctly held sabre tail. Hindquarters well muscled with more rear angulation than first. Would prefer stronger hocks.
Yearling Dog. Entry 5
1st Jhava Black Magic Over Whisperdown. Ms G Courtney Baughan
Above average size male, compact body displays power and strength throughout, developing nicely. A broad skull, small triangular ears sitting close to cheek. Dark eye with good fill under the eye good length to the muzzle in respect to the overall head construction with no excess and dark flews. Strong, broad neck, good length. Would prefer more cleaner behind withers and also prefer more angulation to upper arm, which would give him more reach on the move. Good bone throughout in a compact body with nice flow to the croup with correct sabre tail, that occasionally showed enthusiasm on the stand showing me a willingness to work. Hind quarters, plenty of strength, good bone, strong, sturdy rear angles. Nice bend of stifle flowing to strong hocks. Happy to award him Reserve Best Male.
2nd Shantasia Dax. Mr S & Mrs M Willison
Another above average size male. Excellent type shown, very powerful, enthusiastic male ready to work. Slightly lighter tan markings throughout. Pleasing clean head of good substance. Nice width between ears which sit close to cheek with good fill under the eyes. Dark eyes portraying calm gaze. He has an excellent length of muzzle whilst remaining broad also. Dark mouth pigmentation, upper and lower lips fitting closely with dark flews, no excess skin on the throat. Long powerful neck, clean shoulders muscled with defined pronounce sternum, giving him correct reach on the move. Strong pasterns, correct compact feet. Good depth to rib, overall I would just prefer this male to have a little more weight. Very well muscled rear quarters, plenty of angulation at the rear. Unfortunately the weather was not on his side as he would have benefitted from a larger ring.
Graduate Dog. Entry 2
1st Rott Guardian Igor. Miss E Brereton
Medium size male, plenty of substance. A little apprehensive. Nice broad skull, ears held back. Good fill under the eye. A more open, dark brown eye. Broad muzzle, upper and lower lips fitting close, I would prefer darker flews. Strong broad neck flowing down to broad shoulder construction with good angulation to shoulders but would prefer more length of upper arm. Compact feet. He is broad throughout body with good length. I would prefer firmer topline especially when on the move. He slopes off at croup but again good strength of thigh and bend of stifle, though would prefer more second thigh. Overall he needs to come out of his shell. Correct mahogany tan throughout.
Limit Dog. Entry 3
1st Von Kassel Maverick Sarkay. Mr R & Mrs Trevett
I was really surprised to meet this guy. He showed a real steadiness about himself, he made it look extremely comfortable. Lovely head, clean with moderate wrinkle, absolutely nothing overdone, good 3 to 2 proportions from side view. Good length of muzzle, correct bite and the darkest of dark mouth pigmentation I have ever seen in the UK. Ears correct and sitting close to cheek. Good fill under the eyes with dark almond shaped eyes. Good length of neck, remaining broad. Clean shoulders and well angulated giving him good reach of stride. Strong pasterns, neat feet. Broad rib cage and good depth also body remains compact, slopes off nicely at croup. Strong hindquarters with good bend of stifle and strength to second thigh with strong hocks, holding his solid frame. Albeit a small ring today due to the weather, he did everything I asked of him and even after the movement still showed off the correct sabre tail, saying I can do this all day long. Fit for purpose and ready to work. Thank you for the pleasure to be able to award him Best Dog and Reserve Best In Show.
2nd Chantavorys One And Only. Miss C A Moss
Another beautiful male I have always admired but today he came up against 1st and this guy really needs a big ring to show himself off. He is a powerhouse. Slightly different head to 1st but from side view good 2 to 3 proportions. Dark, almond shape eye, dark mouth pigment with dark flews. Broad skull between ears sitting high and wide, held close to cheek, good length of neck, well muscled. I would prefer more angulation on upper arm. Stands firm on neat feet. Compact body, good spring of rib, very roomy. Firm topline but tends to loose it on the move. Shows correct sabre tail. Displays great power from rear although hocks are very close. Correct slope of croup and good bend of stifle with well developed muscle on first and second thigh. It was a pleasure to finally get my hands on this guy.
Minor Puppy Bitch. Entry 1
1st Gouldthiassi Wise One. Miss J & Mr J Bragan & Stubley
7 month old bitch, good size for this stage. Very compact form would like a little more substance and bone overall. Very feminine in appearance with good 3 to 2 proportions on the head from side profile. Correct ears, set high and wide when alert. Good bite. I would just prefer a little more fill under the eye. Dark brown eye pigment, almond shaped but slightly open. Good distance between head and shoulders. Well laid back shoulders, just prefer to be clean behind withers. Little soft in topline especially when on the move. Hind quarters can stand straight at times but very young. Strong hocks. Correct markings throughout.

Hocks sturdy, standing four square. I will watch her progression with great interest.

Right up my street, absolutely loved this bitch and was surprised by her performance. She didn’t put a foot wrong and did all I asked of her. Correct size bitch, compact form, good bone and substance throughout but importantly, remaining feminine. Correct mahogany tan markings. Exceptionally well developed skull with moderate wrinkle and ears correctly placed sitting close to cheek, well developed cheek bones not overly done. Correct stop and width between the eyes, good length of muzzle, dark mouth pigment and flews. Correct bite. Almond shaped eyes, dark pigment, completing that calm Rottweiler gaze. I loved her ability to switch from being calm and disciplined in the stand, not overly enthusiastic on the move, holding her shape at all times. She looked totally comfortable with what asked her. I had no hesitation to award her Best Bitch and Best In Show. I am absolutely sure she will go on to achieve much in her showing career. Thank you for bringing her.

Limit Bitch. Entry 5
1st Abacab’s Duchess. Mrs C A Willis Impey
Medium size bitch, very powerful, compact form. Great temperament for the Breed. Little lighter in tan than I would like but nonetheless a really clean silhouette she presents. Head broad but not over, exaggerated in expression, moderate wrinkle, ears correctly placed on skull sitting close to the cheekbones, well developed under eye. Eye colour dark, would prefer better almond shaped eye. A lovely length to muzzle and broad form which reflects throughout her head. Neatly lying lips, no excess skin with dark flews. Correct bite. She displays good upper body strength in shoulders and upper arm with good angulation presenting excellent forechest. Nice strong neck, clean behind the withers. Good width in ribcage and depth. Firm topline held on the move and stand. Slight tuck up but overall presents very compact body. Hindquarters display power when on the move, very well developed in this area. Sabre tail.

Now this girl was very pleasant with great temperament for the Breed and couldn’t wait to dive on me! Compact form, slightly wet head compared to 1st. Good fill to cheek bone with correct skull proportions, correct stop between eyes. Good bite with nicely fitting lips to broad muzzle. Mottled mouth pigment, dark flews. Good strength displayed to the neck and shoulders, clean behind the withers. Needs a little more angulation to upper arm. Correct pasterns and standing on compact feet. Veteran Bitch. Entry 5
Just briefly, when you start in the Breed and finally judge, I never thought I would get my hands on these lovely specimens and be able to critique them. They are quality, including those unplaced in this class and all showed brilliantly. A credit to their owners and breeders, unfortunately I had to place them!
1st Stairvale Faith. Mr C N & Mrs N K Window
Smaller than average but makes up for it with her clean outline, coupled with bone and substance and attitude to match. Free stood, four square, even as a veteran oozes quality. Clean feminine head. Ears set high, flowing close to cheek, perfect 2 to 3 skull and muzzle proportions. Muzzle broad with no excess skin, lips sitting close, dark flews, correct bite and dark mouth pigment. Eyes dark, slightly open eye. Good length of neck with muscle, well laid back shoulders and clean behind withers, correct angulation of upper arm to well presented forechest. Good depth of ribcage and spring of rib, very compact body. Holds a level topline on stand and on move with level underlines. Correct tail displayed on move and occasionally in the stand. Well muscled hindquarters, good angulation and bend of stifle with strong hocks. Free stood at all times, which really benefits her. In the Challenge really pushed the younger girls as her movement looked so effortless, great front and rear stride, not overly enthusiastic. Still fit for purpose. Thank you for bringing her. Best Veteran In Show.
2nd Ch Jezeve Back to Black JW. Mrs L & Mrs R Watts & Gibbard Correct size female with feminine head, a few greys on display but still an exceptional attitude to showing, tailwagging, showing great work ability. Nice broad skull with moderate wrinkle between ears. Correct set ears sitting close to the skull. Dark, almond shape eye, good length of muzzle relative to the skull. Lips sitting close both upper and lower with no excess, dark flews. Long neck still well muscled, correct laid back shoulders and angulation to upper arm presenting good forechest. Tight compact feet. Ribcage deep and well sprung ribs, level topline and underlines. Sabre tail happily displayed especially when standing. I preferred the strength of hindquarters on 1st nonetheless this girl still displays good stride and power from her hindquarters with an easy flowing gait. Strong hocks supporting her body. Thank you for presenting her.
Judge Nick Bateson (Upmont)
Saturday 20th July 2024.
I would like to thank the committee and all of the exhibitors for giving me a super day. It is always an honor to judge a breed club show, especially as I served on the committee for many years. Thanks also to my very efficient stewards and to the team who provided lunch.
All placed exhibits had correct dentition and correct tails.
I find that the issues in the breed a few years ago of light tans and over marking have almost disappeared. Eyes were almost all dark brown but many were very round in shape which detracts from the expression. Hopefully you breeders can rectify this too. I have great hopes for the breed being in good hands.

Open Show 2024
(Lorraine Carmichael)
Saturday 13th April 2024.
Firstly I’d like to thank the committee and officers for the Invite to Judge The British Rottweiler Association Open Show and all exhibitors for your entry. My Steward on the day did a fantastic job of keeping the ring moving and me on track. I had a lovely day, where I was made most welcome by the Committee, club members and exhibitors alike. It was an honour to be able to Judge such an array of dogs, all of which behaved impeccably well. The atmosphere was light, friendly and my winners and placings were received well and with good sportsmanship. Thankfully the rain stayed away allowing us to use the outside rings all be it a bit blustery at times.

Championship Show 2023
(Claire Cox)
I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at this show, it was an appointment that I enjoyed very much. I must thank my Stewards Georgina and Terri who kept everything running smoothly and efficiently allowing me to only focus on the dogs, Thankyou so much ladies. Although the weather this year was wet, cool and rather disappointing, the same cannot be said about the quality of my entry, and I was more than pleased with my winners and my line ups. The sportsmanship and atmosphere on the day was wonderful, and it made for a super day all round! Temperaments were, without exception superb, and presentation generally was excellent too. I had very few mouth faults, and overall I feel that tails are improving as are fronts and feet.

Minor Puppy Dog (2,0a): 1st Mullhall’s Vigo from Hause Hertog (Imp BEL) 8 months old, medium size, and the most beautiful rich tan. Very attractive broad, masculine but clean head, broad muzzle, correct dentition and excellent pigmentation. Dark brown eyes of correct shape, close fitting pendant ears which he will grow into as he matures. Medium angles fore and aft and forechest developing nicely as would be expected for his age. He has good bone and substance, strong compact feet with well arched toes and excellent width to his thigh. Movement a little erratic initially, but once settled he covered the ground well maintaining his shape, well carried tail.
2nd Allen & Steel’s Upend Edward: just under 7 months old, excellent colour, smaller than winner with bone in proportion to his size. Masculine head, correct dentition, medium pigment. Dark eye of good shape, medium correctly held ears. Very nice outline, balanced angulation, good top and underline. Moved sound and steady, well set and carried tail, a lovely happy boy who only lost out on maturity today.

He has a broad masculine head, dark eyes, correct mouth with dark pigment and medium size close fitting ears. Good length of neck, well muscled and clean over withers. Enough angulation front and rear, forechest developing nicely, super feet, compact with well arched toes. I would prefer him a little shorter through the loin, but he moves well and holds his shape and top line so earned his place and Best Puppy Dog.
2nd: Finch’s Panelma The Lone Ranger: Almost 12 months old, smaller and lighter boned than winner. Masculine head, correct dentition, medium pigmentation. He has dark eyes of correct shape and medium size correctly carried ears, he had beautiful expression too. Correct angles front and rear, makes a good shape when standing, moved well with correct well carried tail. He will be a late maturer, but has many excellent qualities, so I’m sure will be worth waiting for.

Strong neck, well developed forechest, not as clean over withers as winner. Straight front good feet, moderate angulation, good tail. Moved soundly but couldn’t match extension of winner.
Limit Dog (3,1a) 1st: Docherty’s Fantasa Just out the Blu: Mature masculine male who presents a clean and substantial outline. Attractive head with slight wrinkle when alert (which is most of the time!) Dark expressive eye, smaller ears but used and held well. Correct dentition, mottled pigment. Masculine head free from wrinkle, dark eye, medium size ears but reluctant to use them today. Correct dentition mottled pigmentation. Straight front, good feet and good depth to brisket. 3rd Trueman, Brownridge & Cartwright’s Steigan Nevada Mit Jaegerot
Champion Dog (5,0a) 1st CH Gaston Earl Antonius (Imp SRB): Medium size boy who is all male but not overdone in any way, he was just what I was hoping to find today. Masculine head, good width to skull with very slight wrinkle, broad muzzle, dark eye, correct close fitting ears held well. Correct dentition and darkest of pigmentation. He has a strong, self assured even slightly arrogant expression that shouts male Rottweiler. Super front and compact feet with strong well arched toes. Strong neck, clean over withers and well developed forechest. Super angles front and rear, excellent bend of stifle and strong hocks, excellent movement with reach and drive holding topline and shape at all times, good tail. He’s just so well balanced. He momentarily lost concentration in the challenge with the bitch for best in show, but quickly refocused and didn’t put a foot wrong, CC and well deserved BIS.
2nd Bateson’s CH Upend Blade: Another excellent dog of super breed type, unlucky to meet winner on such good form today, that being said, he pushed hard for the top spot. Medium size powerful male with great bone and substance. Strong head without coarseness, lovely dark eye of correct shape, medium close fitting ears, correct dentition and dark pigment. Rich mahogany markings. Straight front, well developed forechest, good feet, balanced angulation front and rear, moderate bend of stifle. Tail carried up, but correct sabre shape. Well deserved RCC.
3rd James &Thompson’s CH Bamabel Ezekiel
Veteran Dog (1,0) 1st Goodban & Dunhill-Hall’s Fantasa Just Ace it with Keljaygo: 8yr old male, Medium size with bone and substance in proportion. This boy has no exaggeration and although he stood alone, he well deserved his win. Attractive male head, clean skull of good width, his ears are fairly small but carried correctly adding more width to skull. He has dark eyes and in the breed standard it calls for a ‘calm gaze indicating good humour’ he certainly has that, he won me over totally with his cheeky attitude and I’m sure he was smiling! Correct dentition, darkest of pigmentation, my notes comment on what a beautiful mouth he has especially at over 8. Good balanced angles, straight front, compact feet and decent forechest. Thoroughly enjoying his day, he pulled out all the stops when challenging for best veteran, and won it over the bitch as she was unable to match his extension on the move. BVD and BVIS.
Minor Puppy Bitch (1,0) 1st Gibson’s Tikaram Kadi Diester: 8 month old who was attending her first Ch Show, she had so much to contend with, as the rain and the wind had set in but she did very well indeed. She was handled extremely sympathetically and although a little raw at the moment, her time will come. Pretty head, dark eyes of good shape, she has a lovely expression and although her ears look a bit on the large side at the moment, I’m sure she will grow into them. Correct dentition, medium pigmentation, good length of neck, balanced angulation, feet ok, good tail, moved steadily holding her shape.
Puppy Bitch (5,1a) 1st Monk’s Olearia Queen of Hearts: 10 month bitch who is beginning to mature nicely. Attractive feminine head without exaggeration, she has medium brown eyes and a calm steady expression. Medium size close fitting pendant ears used to advantage. Correct dentition, medium pigmentation. Nice length of neck, clean over withers, straight front, good colour and good feet. Correct angulation to front, a bit extra to the rear, she has a good top line which was held on the move and good tail carried well. She moved well and I’m sure will continue to improve with maturity. BPB & BPIS.
2nd Rowarth’s Darkarmar Winx: 9months of age and a different type to winner, but still excellent quality. Medium size compact bitch with well developed forechest. She has a super head and beautiful dark eye, small ears used to advantage, very alert expression. Correct dentition and lovely dark pigmentation. Excellent length of neck, clean over withers, super front, forechest and angles front and rear. She was so keen on the move that she was a little erratic at times and as a result she lost her shape, definitely a star of the future.
3rd Morgan’s Almaz Don’t Stop Believing
Junior Bitch (4,1a) 1st Docherty & Dunhill-Hall’s Fantasa Daddy’s Girl: another beautiful bitch of quality, medium size, good rich colour. Feminine head with lovely dark expressive eyes, medium ears held correctly , clean broad skull, correct dentition and good pigmentation. She has good length of neck, clean over withers, straight front and compact feet. Well developed forechest and well muscled throughout given that she is only 14 months old. Correct angulation, good bend of stifle and strong hocks, moved very well covering the ground, holding her shape and carrying tail well.

3rd Plimmer’s Victorem My Funny Valentine.
Novice Bitch (5,2) 1st Watts & Gibbard’s Jezeve Pickpocket: Large size bitch, lovely feminine head with broad, clean skull, lovely dark almond shape eye and close fitting ears. She’s a good rich colour and has good shoulders, a straight front, good feet and enough forechest. She moves well carrying a good tail, would prefer more width of thigh and a bit more rear angulation to complete the picture.
2nd Sutcliffe’s Bereyda Esna: Smaller, more compact bitch with attractive feminine head, dark eyes, correct dentition and pigmentation, straight front and compact feet. Balanced angulation, good top and underlines, moved well with correct tail, sadly she lost her topline on the move.

2nd Coleman’s Jezeve Born to be Wild: Taller, more rangy bitch than winner, but has a feminine head, dark eye, medium size close fitting ears, correct dentition and good pigment. Straight front and strong compact feet. Balanced angulation but I would prefer more, she moved very soundly but without the reach and drive of the winner. Tail carried higher and tighter than 1.
3rd Craig’s Jezeve Black Dahlia
Limit Bitch (4,1) 1st Richards’ Hanbar Enigma At Ruiz: Medium size bitch of excellent breed type who has boundless energy and doesn’t make it easy for her handler! I must say I loved her attitude. Lovely feminine head of correct proportions, good width to skull complimented by medium ears when she brought them forward. Beautiful dark expressive eyes, correct dentition and dark pigmentation. Strong muscled neck flowing into clean withers, straight front, well developed forechest, compact strong feet. She has excellent balanced angulation all through, lovely bend of stifle and strong hocks, she has wonderful muscle tone and is superbly fit, no surprise really that she really came into her own on the move, I could have watched her all day, thoroughly deserved this class and couldn’t be denied the CC & BOSIS, her 3rd and crowning CC I was told, a very worthy champion
2nd Monk &Jones’ Westfalen Love by Design: Another beautiful bitch with so much to offer in quality and breed type. Very pretty feminine head and the darkest of eyes and medium close fitting ears give this girl a beautiful expression. Correct dentition and dark pigmentation. She presents a very nice outline with good length of neck, clean over withers, good forechest, straight front and good top and underlines. Very nice angulation front and rear, good width of thigh, moved very well with good tail. Unfortunate to meet winner today, but most definitely deserved Res CC.
3rd Clark’s Botlierskop Titan Theia
Open Bitch (5,0) 1st Tuttle’s Laverko Defying Gravity: Medium/large size bitch with attractive head and clean broad skull, dark almond shape eyes and medium close fitting ears which added width to head when used, correct dentition mottled pigmentation. She has plenty of angulation fore and aft, excellent forechest, straight front, good feet. She has more length of loin than ideal and has a tendency to lean forward towards handler which accentuates this, however, on the move she makes a better shape and holds her topline. Very good movement covering the ground well, Good tail.
2nd Haigh’s Jaqary Rhyme N Reason: Much smaller and more compact bitch than the winner, feminine head of correct proportions, dark eye, medium ear carried close to cheeks, correct dentition and dark mouth. Good length of neck, clean over withers, straight front and compact feet. Balanced angulation, good tail, moved well but without the fluidity of winner.
3rd Harwood’s Wolfbass Mama Cita at Kimian
Champion Bitch (2,0) 1st Jones’ CH Olearia Western Girl from Westfalen: medium size bitch with lovely outline, correct in so many departments. Beautiful feminine head with strength but not overdone in any area, really lovely calm expression. Dark brown eyes, correct ears, lovely colour, correct dentition and dark mouth. Excellent front, strong compact feet, correct length of neck, clean withers, good top and underlines. Very good strong backend with good width to thigh, moved very well with good tail. In the challenge I just preferred the shorter loin of the RCC winner, who I hear is this girl’s daughter.
2nd Rowarth & Pinky’s CH Darkarmar Selene: Another lovely bitch who pushed very hard in this class. Medium size, good bone and substance, makes a very nice compact outline. Feminine head, darkest of eyes and small ears, markings are a beautiful rich mahogany colour. Strong neck, clean over withers, straight front, feet ok. Strong neck, clean over withers, good straight front, feet not as tight as 1. Well developed forechest, good top and underlines, balanced angulation, strong well muscled rear. Moved very well. This girl was really enjoying her day, and even at the age of 9 was desperate to get her toy, just lovely!

1st Docherty & Dunhill-Hall’s Fantasa Just Out The Blu
Masculine head, without being overdone, broad skull with close fitting ears, dark almond eye and a classic expression. This dog scored for me in shape and type, his clean lines and balance. There is nothing exaggerated on this dog. Clean well arched neck, into good strong straight top line which is so lacking in the breed, straight underline. Correct shoulder with good return of upper arm, well developed fore chest, and correct rear assembly to balance. He held his shape on the move covering the ground with good reach and drive. Pleased to award him BD & BIS
